A local drug group known as “SAKIDAL-ANIRIL” engaged in the proliferation of illegal drug activity in Region 9 was neutralized in a buy-bust operation on January 29, 2011 at around 4:30 PM in Unit-A Holy Trinity Village, Tetuan, Zamboanga City.
In his report to PDEA Director General Undersecretary JOSE S. GUTIERREZ, IO2 Marvin Santos , team leader PDEA Regional Office 9 identified the suspects as Ladimer Tulawie y Sahipa alias Ladi, male, 36 years old, a former municipal councilor of 1st District Talipao, Sulu, Inderapatra Adam y Mangomma alias “Inde” female, 32 years old, single, a fish buyer and distributor and Zam-Zam Tulawie y Isnirul alias Zam, male, 23 years old, married, jobless college graduate, all residence of Tetuan, Zamboanga City.
Among the pieces of evidence that were confiscated from the suspect were one (1) piece medium size plastic sachet containing suspected shabu weighing MOL 50 grams; one (1) unit black Nissan Ultra Eagle pick-up with plate no FEF 768 and one (1) black Nokia 1202-02 cellular phone.
“It is sad to note that we cannot even trust some of our local officials. They are supposedly people who made an oath to serve and protect. Let us be prudent in choosing the people that we elect, knowing that these officials will help build a brighter future for our children. I commend the elements of PDEA 9 who conducted the anti-drug operation let us continue to be more vigilant in the fight against illegal drug activities” The PDEA chief said.
Charges for violations of Section 5 (Sale of Dangerous Drugs) in relation to Sec 26 (Attempt or Conspiracy), Article II of R.A. 9165 have been filed against the suspects.
