2 BROTHERS, TRICYCLE DRIVER NABBED FOR DRUG PUSHING IN PAMPANGA

Two brothers and a tricycle driver now face charges in court for selling dangerous drugs after elements of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) conducted two separate buy-bust operations on October 21, 2011 in Angeles City, Pampanga.

PDEA Director General Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez, Jr., said that the arrested drug personalities identified as Emad Dimasangca, 28, Jalanie Dimasangca, 31, and Eduardo dela Cruz, 41, have been charged with violation of Section 5, Article II of the Republic Act 9165 or the Comprehensive Dangerous Drugs Act of 2002.

Operatives of PDEA Regional Office 3 (PDEA RO3), under Director Roybel Sanchez implemented Operation Plan: Ihmad to stop the illegal drug activities of the Dimasangca brothers, Emad and Jalanie who are reported to be notorious drug pushers operating in Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City, whose daily transaction involves two to five “bultos” or 25 grams of shabu. The brothers, who are residents of 22nd Josefa, Brgy. Balibago, were nabbed in their own barangay after selling one plastic sachet containing 4.4 grams shabu worth P25,000 to an undercover PDEA agent. A digital weighing scale and a Honda motorcycle bearing plate number 9165 OH used during the transaction were also recovered from the duo.

Hours later, another operation by PDEA RO3 led to the arrest of Eduardo Dela Cruz, a tricycle driver and a resident of 6th Street, Brgy. Balibago, Angeles City, Pampanga. He was caught red-handed in Mabalacat, Pampanga after selling one sachet of shabu to a poseur-buyer in consideration of P500. PDEA operatives confiscated additional four sachets of shabu from Dela Cruz after conducting further search.
