Quezon City Mayor Herbert Bautista will give away P50,000 as major cash prize and two motorcycle units and a Pangkabuhayan showcase of Pinoy Pao as major item prize in the Christmas party of all QC Hall employees this Friday (December 9).
Mayor Bautista, who will lead the Christmas party, assured city-paid workers that they will have greater chances of winning this year with the new system that was put in place, wherein departments and offices were divided into 5 divisions, namely administrative, revenue, service, frontliner, and legislative.
With the division, the Mayor explained that small offices will have a chance to win in the raffle prizes unlike in previous years where most of the winners came from big departments or offices.
Aside from the Christmas raffle prizes, QC employees will also be entertained by popular performers and live bands including Jimmy Bondoc and lead vocalist of the “Journey” Arnel Pineda.
Also, Mayor Bautista will lead the official lighting of Christmas lanterns and decors at city hall compound with this year’s theme “Sa Puso ng Filipino.”
This year’s Christmas decorations were made by out-of-school-youth of Paete, Laguna from local materials like raffia and paper mache. Maureen Quiñones, PAISO
