GLOBE TELECOM OFFERS FREE CALL IN CDO
Globe Telecom is offering free public services to enable residents in areas affected by typhoon Sendong to keep in touch with their loved ones.
Globe has set up Libreng Tawag stations located in the following areas: covered court of Barangay Macasandig, City Central School in Velez Street, West City Central School in Brgy Carmen in Cagayan De Oro City; and Mindanao State University–Iligan Institute of Technology along Tibanga Hi-Way, and Iligan City National High School, and San Lorenzo Church in Hinaplanon in Iligan City; Batinguil Elementary School, Canduay Elementary School Dumaguete, Sibulan Municipal Market in Dumaguete City.
Libreng Tawag Stations give free 5-minute local call to all networks and free 2-minute international call per person.
Globe has also set up Libreng Charging stations in Barangay Nazareth and Kalambaguhan in Cagayan de Oro City. Libreng Charging Stations have available chargers for those who would like to charge their cellphones. Charo Logarta-Lagamon Head, External Affairs, Globe Telecom, Inc.
