SHABU USERS FALLS IN CAVITE

Months of extensive surveillance operations by agents of the Philippine Drug Enforcement Agency (PDEA) finally paid off with the apprehension of two (2) drug personalities in Cavite.

A report submitted to PDEA Director General/ Undersecretary Jose S. Gutierrez, Jr., disclosed that the anti-illegal drug operation conducted by elements of PDEA Regional Office 4A inside the Garden Grove Subdivision, Dasmariñas, Cavite led to the arrest of suspects, ALFREDO BATAC y ABANTO and EMILIO PAMINTUAN y OLIVEROS.

The operation yielded three (3) heat-sealed transparent plastic sachets containing white crystalline substance suspected to be shabu, weighing more or less one (1) gram which was found inside the suspects’ black Isuzu Crosswind vehicle with plate number XPA-749.

           

The suspect is now under the custody of PDEA 4A for investigation and proper disposition while the confiscated pieces of drug evidence were subsequently submitted to the PNP Regional Crime Laboratory Office for chemical analysis. A case for violation of section 11, Article II of RA 9165 is being readied against the suspects.

Undersecretary Gutierrez commended the officers and men of PDEA 4A for their continuing efforts to enforce the anti-drug law and realize the National Anti-Drug Program of Action in their area of responsibility.-30- (RAFFY RICO/JIMMY CAMBA)
